Setting up Article Type Extraction

The purpose of this document is to describe the manual steps that are mandatory before you can use the Article Type Extraction functionality.

Creating a Visualforce tab

1. Go to Creating a Visualforce Tab and follow the creation steps.
2. Select ExtractKnowledgeHome as the Visualforce Page.

Remote Site Setting

When you access the Article Type Extraction functionality for the first time, you might receive an error message that requests that you add a URL to the Remote Site Settings.

To do this, go to Configuring Remote Site Settings. Follow the steps to add the URL, then try again.
