Why is my Rules Based Einstein Chatbot not working?
The most common cause for a Chatbot to stop working is a misconfiguration such as leaving it inactive after editing or modifying the Bot.
To reactivate a Chatbot, follow these steps:
- In your SF Org, navigate to Setup.
- Use the Quick find box to look for Einstein Bots.
- Look for the ChatBot that is malfunctioning and check its Status. If it says "Inactive", proceed to the next step:
Note: If all chatbots are active, contact your Language I/O Customer Success Manager. - Click on the Chatbot to open the Einstein Bot Builder, and click on the Activate button to the top-right of the screen:
- Refresh the SF window where you have your Chatbot for the changes to take place, and try to use it.
Note: If the problem persists, contact your Language I/O Customer Success Manager.
