Flagging new or updated articles for translations in Zendesk Guide
Before you create a translation project for new or updated articles, you can flag these articles for review in your Zendesk Guide. This marks their corresponding translations as outdated. This can be useful as a selection filter when you create the translation project, and adds an extra review step that you must complete before their publication.
Tip: This step is optional. If you do not need to flag articles, you can go directly to Creating a translation project for Zendesk Guide in the Language I/O Portal.
To flag an article for review, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Guide Admin instance and select the Brand that contains the article that you want to translate:
- Open the relevant article and click Submit for Review:
- Review and approve the article:
- A popup opens to ask if any corresponding translation should be flagged as a result of the update. Toggle all applicable languages:
- Click Close to return to the article.
- Repeat Steps 2-5 for any other article.
When you finish, go to Creating a translation project for Zendesk Guide in the Language I/O Portal.
