Setting up locally stored Custom Auto Responses
Note: This is step 5 of 5 to install Language I/O Chat for Salesforce. This step is optional.
Regardless of whether you use the Classic or Lightning interface, you can use locally stored auto responses (as opposed to stored on the Language I/O server) and timeout messages for chat sessions.
Info: Auto-responses are responses that you want the end user to see automatically when they open a session. Timeout messages are messages that appear when the Language I/O Chat App times out after attempting to communicate with the Language I/O server.
To set up Auto Responses and Timeouts by locale, you must add custom object tabs.
Note: The plugin starts with the most specific locale (for example,
es-la
). If there is no match, the plugin checks the root locale (es
