Oracle Answer Browser User Interface (BUI) User Guide
Prerequisite
To use this add-in, your account must have access to a report configured with the Language I/O Batch Answer Translation Extension.
Using the Language I/O extension
- Open the Oracle Service Cloud BUI and login with a valid account.
- Click the Menu icon in the upper left corner and select the Report Explorer.
- Locate and open a report that is configured to use the Language I/O Batch Answer Translation Extension.
- Update the relevant search criteria as needed, then click the Search button.
- Use Shift+Click or CTRL+Click to select results from the report for translation. You can submit up to 500 articles for translation at a time.
- Right click within the selection and select "LIO Translate" or click the LIO Translate button in the toolbar.
- Enter a relevant Project Name. This is the name you will use to track the translation project moving forward.
- The Source Language is imported from the locale setting defined in the configuration settings of the extension for the profile of the account.
Note: Selected articles that are in any language other than the configured language are automatically removed from the list. This triggers an on-screen notification.
- Check the Target Languages that you want to use, or select all languages by checking "Select All".
- Review and confirm that the "Answers Selected for Translation" list is accurate. You can remove any erroneous selection by hovering over an answer and clicking the red "x" next to it.
- Click Send Translation to submit the project to the human translation portal.
- To confirm that the project was submitted properly:
- Go to the Language I/O portal and click on the Project Administration link.
- A prompted to log in opens:
- Log in with the portal credentials provided by your Language I/O Customer Success Manager.
- The landing page is the Unassigned Articles page.
- Click View Projects in the upper right-hand corner to see a list of current projects.
