Language IO Case for Salesforce | Partially Translating Outbound Email Drafts
If your Language IO Case admin has configured "Targeted Translation Tags" in the application's custom settings, you can translate a tagged portion of your outbound email draft instead of the entire draft.
You can use this feature to avoid translating headers and footers or greetings and closings, among other email draft content you do not want translated.
- Begin composing your outbound email draft.
- Use the "Copy Tags" button in the Language IO Email Draft component to copy your organization's custom partial translation start and stop tags. Your custom tags are also noted in the helper text.
-
In your email draft, paste or type your tags around the content that should be translated.Note: If your organization uses templates or quick texts, tags may already be included where content should be translated.
- When ready, choose "Translate Tagged Content" from the translate dropdown in the Language IO Email Draft component.
- Only the tagged portion of the email draft will be translated.
Note: Only one set of partial translation tags may be applied per email draft translation.
