Language IO Secure Page Translator | Translating Files
Note: You must have installed the Language IO Secure Page Translator and log in to use the extension.
Translating Files with Language IO Secure Page Translator
Note: See File Translation | Supported File Types & Considerations for supported file types, size limits, and other file translation considerations.
- In your browser's extension tray, click the Language IO icon (
) to open the extension.
- Or, click the Extensions icon (
/
), and click "Language IO Secure Page Translator".
- Or, click the Extensions icon (
- Select "Translate Text, Images, and Files".
- The sidebar opens on the right side of your browser window.
- Switch to the "Files" tab.

Upload a file by browsing your local file system, dragging and dropping, or copying and pasting.
Tip: You can drag and drop images and files directly from a web page. -
Select the target language from the "Translate to" dropdown.
Note: The default target language is your browser language until otherwise selected. The source language of the file will be detected during translation. - Click "Translate File".
- Click the "Open to View" link in the "Translated Result" area to view the translated file.

Download the translated file to save it locally.
Note: The translated file will no longer be available once the file is cleared (see step #10). You can always retranslate the file if needed. - Clear the translated file by clicking the remove (
) icon to the left of the file, dropping or pasting another file, closing the extension, or logging out.
