Creating Retranslation Reports (Case)
Translation reports can be a useful tool that provides you with the raw data that you need to review your cases for a given time period and create analytics such as looking at average conversation length, word counts, frequent locales, cases metadata, etc.

Creating a custom Report Type for retranslations
The process is very similar to a regular case report type. To create a case retranslation report type, follow these steps:
- From the Setup Home screen, go to Feature Settings > Analytics > Reports & Dashboards > Report Types:
- Click on New Custom Report Type:
- Fill in the following details:
- Primary Object:LinguistNow Threads
- Report Type Label: Language IO Case Translations
- Description: What the type does, for example "Used to generate a report containing Language IO Case retranslation data"
- Store in Category: Customer Support Reports

Deployment Status: Deployed
- Click Next.
- Click Save in the bottom right corner.
- The screen returns to the main Record Types page. Open the Record Type that you just created, and click Edit Layout:
- Click Lookup Fields:
- In the list of fields, make sure the IsFirstTranslation and IsSecondTranslation are selected, and add them if they are not:
- Click Save in the top right corner.
Creating a Retranslation Report
To create a case report, follow these steps:
- First, select the report type that you just created. In Reports, go to New Report > Customer Support Reports and select Language IO Case Retranslations:
- Click Start Report:
- Add your desired columns. Make sure that the following columns are included:
- IsFirstTranslation
- isSecondTranslation
- Under Filters, apply the desired date filters:
- Click Run in the upper right.
- Once generated, your report should include first and second translation data like the following example:
