Creating a Lightning Records page in Salesforce
To use the Language I/O plugins for Chat and Case in Salesforce, you must first create a Lightning Record page.
To do this, follow these steps:
- In Setup, click on the "Object Manager" tab.
- Click on:
- "Chat Transcript", if you are setting up a page for Chat.
- "Case", if you are setting up a page for Case.
- Click on "Lightning Record Pages" to the left:
- Click “New” on the top right corner.
- A modal opens. Select “Record Page”, then click Next.
- Enter a Label.
- In the Object dropdown menu, elect:
- "Chat Transcript", if you are setting up a page for Chat.
- "Case", if you are setting up a page for Case.
- Click on “Clone Salesforce Default Page”.
- Click Finish.
- A number of pop-ups might follow. You can safely exit all of them.
- Activate the page if prompted to do so:
- If you are unsure of what to select, activate it as an “Org Default”.
- Otherwise, select any relevant app in which you want to activate the page.
