Uninstalling a Language IO package from Salesforce
The purpose of this article is to describe how you can uninstall a Language IO application from your Salesforce org. This can be because the application is no longer in use and must be removed, or if you want to reinstall an earlier version.
Uninstalling a package
- Go to Setup > Apps > Packaging > Installed Packaging
- Find the application package that you want to uninstall and click Uninstall
- The following screen opens:
- Choose whether or not to keep a copy of your application data. This will keep your data saved for 48 hours.
- Check the "Yes, I want to uninstall..." checkbox to confirm your decision:

- Click Uninstall.
The application is uninstalled. If you uninstalled to re-install an earlier version, you can proceed with the re-installation.
If you have external components
If your application referenced or as referenced in external components, the process is interrupted and the following screen opens:
For each reference, the following message appears: "Can't uninstall package because an external component is referencing a component in this package. Remove the reference, and then retry uninstalling this package."
After you remove these references, try again. If your problem persists, submit a support request.
