Using the Retranslation and the Quality Rating Flag features
Using Retranslation
Suppose that you receive a message from an end user, and you are not satisfied with the translation provided. You can perform a retranslation to receive an improved translation.
To do so, follow these steps:
- Click the transcript and additional functionalities button in your Inline application panel:
- A separate pop out window opens with the transcript. (If your browser is set to Full Screen, the transcript may appear as a new tab instead.)
- To retranslate a message, click the Retranslate icon next to the message:
Note: You can only retranslate a message once. - The new translation replaces the old translation, and the old translation is moved into the collapsible section with the original, untranslated message.
The retranslated message is available as long as the agent does not close the ticket or refreshes the browser. If the agent does either one of these things, the retranslation is not saved.
Using the Quality Rating Flag
The application also supports Quality Rating Flag. When enabled, agents can see a flag icon next to the end user's translated message. If they are not satisfied with the translation, they can click the flag, turning it red. This action is reversible.
When an agent flags a translation, Language I/O logs this information to improve translation quality over time.
- Click the transcript and additional functionalities button in your Inline application panel:
- A separate pop out window opens with the transcript. (If your browser is set to Full Screen, the transcript may appear as a new tab instead.)
- Click the flag icon next to the message that you want to flag:
- (Optional) If you clicked a flag by mistake, click it again to undo the flag action.
