Installing the Language I/O Chrome extension
The purpose of this article is to guide users through the process of installing the Language I/O Chrome Extension. This extension makes it easy to translate any text content on a web page displayed in Chrome. It can employ any of the glossaries and machine translation engine priorities associated with your Language I/O account.
Note: Multiple modern browsers exist that are based on the Chromium engine, and a number of these browsers support the installation of extensions from the Google Chrome web store. Language I/O only tested, and only formally supports, this extension when installed on Google Chrome.
There are no restrictions to the use of this extension in non-Chrome browsers that support Chrome extensions and the sidePanel API, however Language I/O does not provide support for any other browser than Google Chrome.
