Responding to a ticket in the native Zendesk text box
To respond to a ticket in the Native Zendesk text box, do this:
- Create a response either by manually typing or using a macro in the Native ZD text box:
(Click to enlarge) - The response is automatically synced to the Language I/O plugin text box (on the left):
(Click to enlarge) - There are two possibilities next:
- the response does not need to be translated:
- Click
in the Native ZD text box.
- Click
- the response needs to be translated:
- In the Language I/O plugin text box, click on the Translate button
.
- Go to Step 4.
- In the Language I/O plugin text box, click on the Translate button
- the response does not need to be translated:
- The response is translated and the translation is populated in the Native ZD text box and the Language I/O plugin text box.

Note: After you click Translateis clicked, processing dots display until the server returns the translation.
- There are two possibilities next:
- Automatically send after Translation toggle is ON (
):
- the translated response is sent to the customer and the text box is cleared.
- Automatically send after Translation toggle is OFF (
):
- Go to Step 6.
- Automatically send after Translation toggle is ON (
- The translated response appears in the Native ZD text box. You can now review and edit it before sending:
(Click to enlarge) - When you finish your review, clicks Submit as New (
).
- The translated response is sent to the customer and both the Native ZD text box and the Language I/O plugin text box are cleared of the response:
