Installing and Configuring the Language I/O Add-In in Oracle Answer Browser User Interface (BUI)
The installation and configuration of Oracle Answer Browser User Interface (BUI) requires the use of the Oracle Service Cloud .NET application. This is because the Report Editor is not available in BUI.
To complete this process, your account must be an administrator account with the necessary permissions to manage add-ins and extensions and create public reports.
Set up
- Open the Oracle BUI NET application and login with an administrative staff account.
- If the
LanguageIO_BUI_BatchTranslate.zip
extension is already installed and you are simply configuring or re-configuring the extension for profiles or interfaces, skip directly to Step 12. - In the Ribbon, click New. Select the "Agent Browser UI Extension" option:
- Select the
LanguageIO_BUI_BatchTranslate.zip
file from your computer. - Set the Name to "LanguageIO_BUI_BatchTranslate".
- Set the Extension Type to "Analytics".
- In the Extension Files grid, set the following files as indicated:
- init.js: check the Init File column
- schema.json: check the Schema Definition column
- configuration.json: check the Configuration column
- In the Ribbon, click Save and Close button, then log out of OSC and log back in.
- Open the Add-In Manager again. In the "Agent Browser UI Extensions" section, select the "LanguageIO_BUI_BatchTranslate" extension.
- In the Ribbon, click Profile Access.
- Enable the extension for an applicable profile and interface combination:
- For each profile and interface combination, set the "AgentSourceLanguageID" value to match the ID of the source language of the answers that the user is submitting for translation.
- Set the "LanguageIOCredentials" to the value provided by your Language I/O Customer Success Manager.
- Repeat Steps 11 through 13 for each applicable profile and interface combination. You must always enable the extension for the administrator staff account profile to be able to add it to reports in the following steps.
- In the Ribbon, click Save and Close button, then log out of OSC and log back in.
- in the Navigation panel, find the "Analytics" menu and open the Report Explorer.
- Either create a new report or edit an existing report that you want to use with the Language I/O Batch Answer Translation Extension.
- In the Home tab of the Ribbon, click Records to open the "Customize Record Commands" window:
- Enable the "LanguageIO_BUI_BatchTranslate" item under the "Answer" object.
- Save and close the report.
- Repeat Steps 17 through 20 for all the required reports.
