Release Notes - Language I/O for Salesforce Case version 2.30
These are the Release Notes for version 2.30, released March 4th, 2024.
Please see the installation instructions in Installing Language I/O Case for Salesforce for the installation link.
Improved
Improvement to the "Unsupported locale" error message
When a translation failed because a language was not configured for that specific Salesforce instance, the error message misleadingly reported that the source locale was not provided, instead of explaining it was a configuration issue. We rephrased the error message so that it now says that the specified language was not configured for the instance, so that agents have a clear idea of what the problem is ("Translation is not supported for the language detected.")
Fixed
Translation errors caused by special characters
A bug was found where the use of angle brackets in content ("<" and ">") would sometimes cause errors during the translation process. This is now fixed so that when these symbol appear in text the content is processed correctly for translation.
