Configuring the Language I/O Messaging permission set

This document outlines the permissions that are included in the Language I/O Messaging permission set.

Apex classes, custom objects, and permissions

• Apex Classes:
  • LioChat
  • LiveAgentTranslator
• Custom objects:
  • Language I/O Sessions:
    • Read
    • Create
    • Edit
    • Delete
    • View All
    • Modify All.
  • Language I/O Translation Entries:
    • Read
    • Create
    • Edit
    • Delete
    • View All
    • Modify All
• Edit permission required for the following custom fields:
  • Language I/O Sessions:
    • Description
    • Locale
    • Translation Enabled
    • Word Count
  • Language I/O Translation Entries:
    • Message
    • Message Type
    • Original Message
    • Timestamp
    • User Name

Assigning Users to the permission set

1. Go to Setup and search for Permission sets. Find the Language I/O Messaging User permission set and click to open it:

2. Click Manage Assignments:

3. Click on Add Assignment and select the users that you want to add to the permission set.
4. When you finish selecting all relevant users, click Next, then Assign.

When you finish, proceed to Step 5: Adding the Messaging Component to the Lightning Record Pages.
