Creating a translation project for Zendesk Guide in the Language I/O Portal
To create a translation project for your Zendesk Guide articles, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Language I/O Portal at https://golinguist.com
- Open the Projects tab and click Article Search:
(Click to enlarge) - There are two ways you can search for articles. The screenshots below show the required and optional fields for both methods:
- Select the brand, language, and category. Adjust any filter as necessary to find the articles that you want to translate, then click Search.
Tip: If you flagged articles in your Zendesk Guide for this project, check the "Only show articles with flagged translations" box: - Select the articles to translate, click Submit for Translation:
(Click to enlarge) - A pop-up window opens. Select your options, then click Submit:
- (required) Enter a unique Project Name.
- This allows you to easily find the project in the projects list.
- Check Publish if you want to publish the translations automatically.
- Do not check this option if you want to review the translations before publishing.
- Select the target locales as applicable, or click "select all" to translate to all languages.
- (required) Enter a unique Project Name.
- The project now appears in the main projects list:
